A Conversation with The Artist Don Cincone. Don Cincone was born in Alto, Louisiana, is an alumni of Southern University of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and has traveled the world abroad, spending time in Europe honing his craft. He is a delightful, divinely talented artist of all kind, painting, sculpting, writing, and photographing. Not to mention, his artwork was commissioned for and featured in the 1965 movie, the Art of Love, starring Dick Van Dyke, Elke Sommer, Angie Dickinson, and James Garner, which was no small feat at the time for an African American artist! He was so kind as to let me into his home and share casual conversation with me about his life and his works of art.
